The Template Process & Terms

It's so simple to get up and selling with Boutique Graphics' pre-designed web templates!  They are compatible with many web hosting/shopping cart companies, including WAHMShoppes, PappaShop, Merchant Moms, Shoppe Pro, Easy Boutique Builder, Eco Chic Hosting, Designer 218, Create A Shoppe Plus, and Mia Shops. (Don't see yours? Just ask! I may be able to add them to the list!) Templates are designed for use with online stores, however they can easily be used for informational sites as well.

Following are the steps to follow for template purchases. Please contact me if you have any questions prior to making your purchase.

1. Get Your Domain Name

If you don't have one already, you need to purchase your domain name - as in, the web address of your site - www.yoursitename.com.  Some of the web hosts above will register your domain for you when you sign up for their web hosting, some will not.  If they don't, you can register yourself through a domain company such as godaddy.com.  

2. Get Your Web Hosting

Web hosting is what creates an online presence for your domain.  The web hosting is what gives you your store admin and shopping cart software to create your online store.  Purchase web hosting with one of the hosts above if you don't have it already.  If you already have hosting with a company not listed, or want to get hosting with a company not listed, just shoot us an email, because there's a chance we can work with your host.

3. Get Your Design

Purchase your chosen template and any add-ons.

Once you complete your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation.  The time frame for installation service is 7 business days (M-F). If you are installing your own, allow up to 3 business days to receive your personalized files in a zip folder by email. Also allow up to 3 business days to receive personalized add-on graphics and Printables. These time frames are general, often these services are done within less time.

4. Get Your Installation

Some templates can be customized and installed just from the information provided when you order; others require additional customization information. Also, if you order add-ons, I will need to get information for customizing those as well. Please note that the time frames given for each service begin the day I receive all required personalization information from you.

If you choose not to have me install your template, I will send you a zip file and HMTL code to install it yourself. Tech support is not provided for self-installation; you'll need to contact the hosting company for help if needed. Templates can be used on any hosting service that allows you to upload HTML, though some modification to the code may be necessary for non-approved hosts and this is the purchaser's responsibility.

5. Get Your Sales

Once I have installed your template and graphics, you will add your site content and products.  Each of my approved web hosts has tutorials, forums, customer support, and/or online instructions to help you with the process.  Once you've finished adding your content, you're in business!

Website Template Terms

• The link back to Boutique Graphics may not be altered and MUST be kept visible in the template, appearing on ALL pages.
• You may use the template on ONE site only (multiple pages for the same URL is OK). If you wish to use the template on more than one website, you must purchase it for each site.
• The graphics that come with your template may be used for web advertising banners. They may not be used on any other website, blog, or other online presence, nor may they be used for printing of any kind as they are not the correct resolution.  If you would like matching blog or other web designs, or matching print designs, please purchase the add-ons or inquire about these designs.
• If you are not using an approved host then you will receive the personalized graphics and HTML code by email. Installation and support of any kind is not included for non-approved hosts. Modifications to the HTML code may be required for the template to operate on non-approved hosts, and you will be responsible for any such modifications. I cannot reinstall or correct mistakes made when a customer chooses to do their own installation unless the customer chooses to hire me for this at my hourly rate. You will need to get support from your web host.
• Refunds are not given on template purchases at any time for any reason as these are an intangible service; there is no way to make a return. All requests for refunds will be denied. It is the customer's obligation and responsibility to be sure about their purchase before completing it. Typing your name as an electronic signature on the page for the template you buy indicates that you have read and agree to these terms whether you have actually read them or not. You are further agreeing to the overall business terms and conditions which can be found by clicking here.

General Terms of Use for all Templates:

1. You may not reproduce, share, sell, or otherwise distribute the graphics or coding from your template.

2. You may not use any template on a website containing sexually explicit material, promotion of hatred against any group, or any illegal activity and the site must not contain links to any such material. Violation of these terms will result in your loss of license without refund.

3. Web hosting/shopping cart support is provided by the web host and/or shopping cart provider. If you need assistance setting up or maintaining your website, you will contact your web host's customer service for this.
